The Eckman Family - Argentina
Tom and Donna have served the country of Argentina since 1974. There they established an indigenous Baptist church, and from that church, have seen three men leave to pursue their own pastoral ministries. They have established a Bible Institute, and Tom serves as President of Seminary Bautista Biblica de Cono Sur - a network of seminaries in Argentina and Uruguay. Tom is also involved with three other missionary families with Baptist World Mission in Argentina, handling their paperwork and orienting them to the field.
The Hassler Family - Brazil
The Hasslers have served the country of Brazil since 1990. Wink is the main preacher, teaches the adult Sunday School class, organizes visitation, oversees the church construction, and many other things. Kay handles the Sunday School kids department, teacher training, teaches the 7-10 year olds, and during the Sunday night service, runs Junior Church for the 2-6 year old children. Janell has a card ministry with the ladies and young girls in the church and community, and is a great help in handing out tracts and handling the overhead projector. Their son Eric is serving the Lord on the mission field of Trinidad/Tobago with his wife and two children.
The Templeton Family - Peru
When Stan and his first wife, Marilyn, moved to Trujillo, Peru, Stan taught in the local Seminary, helped for a year in an established church, later founded two others, and from one of those, began a radio ministry with a potential listening audience of over one million people.
In 2003, Marilyn suffered a heart attack and went to be with the Lord. Stan continued his Trujillo ministries until 2008, when he moved on to the capital city of Lima to begin a new radio ministry, with a potential listening audience of closer to ten million people, and use it to plant churches in the nation's capital.
Stan and Ruth met in 2007, and were married a year later. Together, they have continued the radio and church planting ministry in Lima.
