Children's Ministries

We believe children are precious to the Lord. Therefore, we endeavor to provide loving care and well-planned Bible learning activities to equip your children for their lifelong journey of knowing, loving, and serving Jesus. There are numerous opportunities for your child to be involved including:

Nursery

A safe, healthy environment is provided for infants to 3 years old. The nursery is available for Sunday School, the 11:00am worship service, and for our Wednesday Night Bible Study.

Sunday School

We provide classes for children from age 3 though the 5th grade on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:50 AM. In these classes, children learn from God′s Word in an age-appropriate environment, which helps to foster their foundational Christian education.

Junior Church

An exciting time of worship specifically designed for kids age 3 through Kindergarten that takes place during our two regularly scheduled Sunday morning worship services. Your kids will love the music, games, Bible lessons, and various learning activities they will experience as they learn about God and His Word.

Potter′s Clay Children′s Choir

Potter's Clay is a great opportunity for children in grades 1 through 6 to share their love and talents for music. We have tried to express to our kids that this is a way for them to be involved in ministry at Crossroad and to family and friends who may come and hear them sing.

We have two programs during the year: at Christmas and at Easter. We also may sing a special song at other times. Potter's Clay practices during the 11:00 service and is open to any child who loves to sing. Encourage your children to give it a try!

AWANA

AWANA meetings are filled with fun, life-enriching experiences for our young people age 3 through 6th grade. We provide consistent, positive teaching each week combined with games, scripture memorization, and most of all a time to learn about the reality of God and the truth of the Bible.

Vacation Bible School

This is a high-energy, fun-filled week during the summer for kids age 3–6th grade. The week includes lively music, interactive Bible stories, memorable crafts, energetic games, video, drama, and delicious snacks.

Kids travel to different stations as they learn about the central theme for that day. Your kids will have a blast, form new friendships, and learn exciting truths about God. It will be a week they will remember for years to come!

 Jr. Jam

This is a one-day action packed event that includes music, videos, games, hands-on activities, lunch, and one-on-one time with university students at Cedarville Unviersity.  This event is for those in 3rd-6th grade and usually occurs in the spring.  It is a time you don't want to miss!

Skyview Summer Camp

This is an action-packed week of camp during the summer for those entering 4th-6th grade. The week includes:

• Rodeo Night
• 200-Foot Super Slide
• Petting Farm
• Archery
• Creek Exploration
• Shaving Cream Battle
