The Brown Family (Rich, Karen, Atalee, Alyssa, and Ashlynn)

Location: Indonesia

Ministry: Rich and Karen Brown, were born in 1974 and grew up in Christian homes. At an early age they already had the desire to bring the good news of the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to people who would otherwise have no opportunity to hear. This was due largely to the fact that both sets of their parents also had that same vision and effectively passed it on to them.

They are sent and supported by local expressions of the Invisible. They, along with their three daughters, Atalee, Alyssa, and Ashlynn, go to fulfill Jesus’ last words on earth, “Go and make disciples of all nations…”

In going God has gone before them and led them to the Moi tribe. There they live and minister; sharing God’s truth expressed in His Word, the Bible, in the language of the Moi. There are over 6,000 languages in the world today. At least 2,500 of these do not have God’s written Word. By God’s grace there will be one less of these when they are done. And many Moi who understand and live the truth, “In Him we live and move and have our being.”
